Jim Thorpe Earth Day Festival was started in 1998 by a group of like minded individuals who not only have a love for music and art but a love for their environment.  Based in beautiful Jim Thorpe Pennsylvania we are surrounded by all aspects of nature.  From the mountains we hike on to the Lehigh River we love to raft on all our natural surroundings are right here in our backyard.  Now a non-profit organization, the Jim Thorpe Earth Day Festival not only creates a fun festival for the community but it is also a educational festival as well.  The JTEDF consists of a Lehigh River Clean-up, Free Live Music in the Josiah White Park & at the Opera House, Crafters with hand-made crafts, Moonbounce, Yoga, Environmental Information, Games, Good Food, & Good Vibes!
