Eilen Jewell’s music has a way of getting to you.  While her country- and blues-infused songwriting has been favorably compared with contemporaries like Lucinda Williams and Gillian Welch, Jewell’s approach is equally inspired by jazz divas like Billie Holiday and Bessie Smith. Her new release “Queen of the Minor Key” was recorded in a cabin in the mountains of Jewell’s Idaho home, but it conjures images of smoky downtown jazz clubs and swinging honky-tonks on the wrong side of the tracks.  Once you hear her, you can’t help but stick around for more.

Eilen band is comprised of modern players authentic to Americana and Jazzy swing sound.  Once on stage the influences are evident and the songs are poetically pure and emotionally honest.

This special program is designed for women and conducted by women. Our women’s seminar focuses on much more than just the secrets to better skiing. This seminar is an instant bonding experience on the slopes!

Discover the physiological, psychological, and equipment-related secrets that will allow you to realize your full potential as a skier. Explore the slopes with women instructors who know how to provide a supportive and relaxed learning experience. This comprehensive 2-day program is geared for the intermediate and advanced skiers ages 18 and over.

You will need your own equipment or you can rent equipment at the mountain. The Women’s Seminar includes a 2-day snow pass,continental breakfast and lunch will be included both days as well as a wine and cheese get together Saturday at 4:00pm. registration each day at 7:30am. The seminar begins at 8:00am and ends at 4:00pm each day.
